Excellent question!
Here is an overview of the timeline from the moment you start listing your own home with Bōde:
Request a photos and measurements appointment. The professional photos and measurements are included in Bōde's fee of 1% for people who list with us. Click here to make a request to one of our Prōs. They will get back to you to organize the appointment. After the photos and measurements are taken, it typically take 48 hours to touch up and upload to your listing (don't worry we will let you know).
Start listing your home. You can fill out everything you need to list in about 10 minutes. It is a great idea to start this early so that you can add additional co-owners as needed and look up property details you might not have at your disposal.
Click the "Preview" button and check things over. You have the opportunity to preview your listing page after you entered all of the data required. If you see any errors or omissions, simply go back into the listing flow and make changes.
Click the "Submit" button. When you submit your listing, it will be sent to Bōde for us to check things over. It takes about 2 business days to post your listing on realtor.ca and 1,000+ other listing sites. We will let you know when your listing has gone live. Just so you know, the 90-day listing period starts when your listing is actually live.
Your listing is live! We will start digitally advertising your home and schedule a sign installation. Congratulations: you listed your own home! We encourage you to share your listing on social media and with local community groups to gain maximum exposure to self-represented buyers.
You are officially in the driver's seat of selling one of your most significant assets. It was that easy.
Did you know when you sell your own home using Bōde, you actually save time? By automating and simplifying the back and forth that happens the traditional way, we save our sellers about 60% of the time it would have taken to sell your home with an agent. Amazing right?
