We keep your default name static in your account to protect the integrity of our users. It is important to the integrity of our service that your identification is an exact match to your account name with Bōde. You are able to make changes to your first and last name but you cannot change the email address associated with your account at any time.

We offer added security to both buyers and sellers by ensuring that both parties have been verified in our system before buyer's start viewing homes and before seller's start listing homes. This IS NOT a background check. It simply means that you are who you say you are! For seller's, this is also important as you need to have the authority to sell a property and all titleholders must be listed in the sale contract for the sale to be legal.
